She works at ULBS as a lecturer teaching among others conservation of biodiversity and genetics for the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Food Industry and Environment Protection. She is in charge of developing the curricula and organizing courses and laboratories as well as out-door courses and research activity. She works closely with the Department of International Relations for Academic Affairs for developing cooperation with foreign universities or international institutions in the field. She was involved in coordinating research projects and she is the Romanian coordinator of the UNEP GEF project for Biosafety. She has more than 8 years of experience in capacity building evaluation at national level including the international context as well. In the Comenius project she will share her experience and expertise in further developing educational programs, assessing new tools and means for biodiversity learning in schools including capacity building evaluation in Romania in order to reveal gaps and need for further developing the educational system including sustainability issues. She will coordinates at ULBS the dissemination of the project’s outputs and outcomes and she will participate in organizing professional teacher further training courses.

She is a teacher of Physics and Chemistry. She has got a Master Degree in Management of the Protection of the Agricultural Environment. She has got a lot of experience in working with children on projects about environment. Her role in the project will be to co-ordinate the activity of the members of the project and participate and initiate activities related to the project - activities with children based on the chapters from Tiere Live, training courses, teachers training courses for the cascading.

Péter Szandi-Varga studied biology at the University of Szeged and works as a biology teacher. He has been involved in several national and international projects concerning sustainability and educational projects. He is the member of the Hungarian Association of Environmental Education. He is participating in the project supporting the content development. He is studying at the NYME Kitaibel Pál Doctoral School.

She is holding a BSc degree in Mathematics at University of Szeged, completed an Accounting and Finance certificate course. Since 2012 Ms Szabó has been working at Junior Achievement Hungary as a project manager of large scale projects financed by the Social Renewal Program and the European Commision. She is in charge of preparation and presentation of financial reports and other financial documents in the project.

Ms Kovács has been the coordinator of international projects at Junior Achievement Hungary since 2012. She’s in charge of several projects that are all related to the education and skills development of primary and secondary school children. She has got 12 years of teaching experience, in her present position she is involved in educational material planning and development, in student and corporate volunteer trainings and also responsible for keeping contact with the key corporate and business partners. She is responsible for coordinating the ELENA project in Hungary.

I am currently working at LEPL Environmental Information and Education Centre, as a chief specialist of environmental education. At same time, I am running the project: "Conservation Actions for the Imperial Eagle in Kakheti Region, Georgia.” I graduated bachelor of Biology and entered to master of Ecology. I am founder and president of the Young Biologists Association.

Nicolae SUCIU is teacher of mathematics, school inspector at School Inspectorate Sibiu County. He is responsable of monitoring and evaluating the mathematics activities in county of Sibiu. In the ELENA project he is researcher teacher

Peter Sturm, Biologist and Vice-Director of the Bavarian Academy for Nature Conservation and Landscape Management, is scientific coordinator and editor of the publication “Tiere-Live”-Project, the previous project of ELENA. He is Teacher for trainings and workshops in various ecological and economical contexts, focusing on protection of nature and environment. He is responsible for the conception and realization of teacher training courses. He is the former head of the department “biodiversity” at the Bavarian Environment Agency.

Rusudan Tedoradze - Biology / science consultant at the National Center of Teacher Professional Development
She graduated from Faculty of Biology at Tbilisi State University.
She has a long experience of working as a teacher and deputy director at secondary schools.
Rusudan is an author of pedagogical articles and training modules in biology / natural science, environment and sustainable development.

Silvia CIUFUDEAN is economist, responsable of accounting department at Sibiu County School Inspectorate. She manage the financial aspects of all schools in Sibiu county. In the ELENA project she is administrative person.

She is an English teacher and the Comenius coordinator of the school. She has been involved in two Comenius projects about environment from 2000 to 2008. She has published articles and books on educational development and teaching material. Her role in the project will be to translate all the needed material, to participate in activities related to the project – activities with children based on the chapters from Tiere Live, training courses, teachers training courses for the cascading.

Ştefan FIRU is teacher of history and german, general inspector at School Inspectorate Sibiu County. He is responsable of implementation of education policy in county of Sibiu. In the ELENA project he is researcher teacher

Being a PhD of Social Communication, and an MA of International Relations and European Studies she has been an adult educator, trainer for 20 years, working on experience-based education both with pupils and adults. She has also worked as expert and researcher for educational issues in several national and international projects, such as PHARE-supported Euroma Project (consultant), IEE-supported Carbon Detectives project (external evaluator), Comenius supported Real World Learning project (researcher), Comenius Partnership: International Steps towards a Sustainable Future (educator).
