ELENA-Comenius project –Experiential Learning and Education for Nature Awareness, implemented between November 2013 and October 2016 meets the end. The National Conference will take place in Sibiu today, October 21, at the Academic Centre.

The project was coordinated at the national level by ”Lucian Blaga” University, in partnership with Sibiu County School Inspectorate and Middleschool no. 21 Sibiu. The project has four partners: Germany (coordinator), Romania, Hungary and Georgia. The aim of the project was raising awareness about the importance of biodiversity and nature protection. During the project students developed new competencies, specific books were elaborated with support of German partners, 168 teachers were trained to develop lessons with live animals (ants, reptiles, dogs) and 2321 students were involved.
